アキラのソーラン節，這邊的節在日文中的解釋並非什麼節日，而是一種小調節拍的歌曲，是首古老的北海道民謠捕魚歌。
這首歌謠的起源一說是北海道的渡島(OSHIMA)半島的捕鯡魚時, 收漁網上船時有人愉悅的問著：去問一問那海鷗, 鰊魚是否已上網 ？
於是漸漸的成為一首捕魚時的拉網小調。
